Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Primarily Day Shift with some variance as per business needs
- Evening overnight and weekend call and holiday rotation required
Manages and supervises specialty radiology procedures ensuring quality and safety standards are met while maintaining a positive patient experience.
Essential Functions:- Supervises and coordinates the daily operations of the radiology IR team.
- Assigns tasks and delegates responsibilities to team members.
- Monitors and evaluates the performance of team members. Monitors the quality of IR procedures and ensures that they meet the required standards.
- Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care. Ensures compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment and orders as needed.
- Ensures that the radiology equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
- Trains new team members on IR procedures and safety protocols.
Education Requirement:Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology required.
Licensure Requirement:- Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.
- Valid R category Ohio Radiological License required.
Certifications:- CPR certification required.
Skills:Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience:- Five years of clinical Radiology experience required.
- Three years of experience with Interventional or similar procedures required.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
