Senior Accountant - Parsippany NJ

DISHER is currently partnering with a global leader in service supply chain solutions in search for a Senior Accountant to join their this role you will serve as a key member of the accounting team responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements managing general ledger activities and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. Youll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting accuracy ensure compliance with accounting standards and drive process improvements that support overall business performance.

What youll get to do:

Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare month end close activities and prepare internal monthly reporting.
Assist in preparation of year-end financial statements.
Perform and review internal control documentation and testing.
Prepare variance analysis vs budget and forecast.
Monitor day-to-day bank activities and cash management.
Assist in tax filings and compliance.
Support Assistant Controller with process improvement initiatives.

What will make you successful:

Active CPA license - preferred
Strong US GAAP knowledge
Advanced computer skills on MS Office and databases; ability to manipulate large amounts of data
Strongly preferred: Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central
5 years accounting experience.
Public company experience a plus.
