Sentara Medical Group has a full-time opening for an APP (NP or PA) to joinSentara Primary Care & Therapy Centerin Staunton VA.
Position Highlights:
- Monday-Friday 7am-5pm
- 40 hours a week (36 patient contact hours and 4 hours of admin time)
- Flexibility to work 4 or 5 days a week to meet the 36 patient contact hours
- 16-18 patients/day
- Patient population - newborns through geriatrics; patients of all ages
- Call schedule: every 8 weeks with minimal volume RN triaged first
- Robust training with APP specific training modules dedicated APP mentor and specialty shadowing experiences

- Active NP or PA
- Prefer experience as an APP with a background in primary care med surg and/or emergency medicine
Experience
- 5 years of direct care RN experience preferred
- Strong assessment skills experience managing chronic conditions and previous exposure to diverse patient population of all ages
