Job Summary
We are recruiting two Plant Attendants for 1 year Fixed Term contracts based at our Westfield plant in Fife.
Working in a small maintenance team you will be responsible for the safe efficient operation of the plant. Daily duties and responsibilities will include;
- Ensuring adherence to Health Safety Environment and Quality (HSEQ) standards eliminating or mitigating hazards
- Operating various equipment (e.g. Front-Loading Shovel Forklift Telehandler) and support plant repairs and emergency responses
- Conducting regular plant inspections report defects and maintain housekeeping and cleaning standards
- Managing COSHH materials minimize waste and ensure proper storage and handling of stock and equipment
- Reporting accidents near misses and suggest improvements to Plant Operating Instructions and Risk Assessments
Qualifications :
- Education: O Level equivalent English and Maths
- Experience/qualification in operating mobile plant preferred
- Familiar with HSE standards procedures and requirements and control plant operations in a safe and efficient manner
- Must have the ability to react quickly and with good judgment during emergencies.
- Language: Fluent English
- Excellent communication skills
