Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer (Site Supervision) to join our site supervsion team in this critical on-site role you will oversee mechanical engineering works supervise installations and ensure compliance with local regulations project specifications and industry standards across industrial and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Review mechanical designs shop drawings material submittals method statements and calculations related to mechanical discipline activities.
Supervise on-site installation testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
Conduct site inspections to ensure work is carried out according to project specifications and quality standards.
Coordinate with contractors consultants suppliers and other disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and provide effective technical solutions.
Ensure compliance with local codes regulations and authority requirements.
Manage and mentor junior engineers and site inspectors supporting their professional development.
Prepare technical reports documentation and presentations for stakeholders.
Monitor project timelines and support the team in meeting project milestones.
Promote sustainable engineering practices and energy-efficient solutions.
Continuously improve engineering processes to enhance project efficiency and quality.
Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 20 years of experience including significant experience in engineering consultancy and site supervision.
Proven experience managing mechanical works including HVAC plumbing firefighting systems LPG/NG and fuel systems across large construction projects.
Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and heat load / system sizing calculations.
Solid understanding of HVAC systems piping systems and industrial mechanical equipment.
Proficiency in CAD and BIM software.
Familiarity with project management tools and construction methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
Excellent communication coordination and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multicultural project environment.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
