Job Summary

In this role you will:

  • Prepare and present food items for a la carte buffet and pastry services to high standards
  • Ensure cleanliness safety and organisation of the kitchen at all times
  • Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience
  • Stay updated with the latest food trends and contribute creatively to menu development

Qualifications :

  • An experienced chef with a minimum of 3 years in a 45-star Hotel or high-end restaurants with demonstrated experience with pastries cakes breads (Sourdough based seasonal and cultural)
  • Qualified in culinary arts with strong technical skills and abilities
  • Creative self-motivated and passionate about food
  • Able to work independently during graveyard shifts managing food preparation and service
  • Capable of following detailed instructions for mise en place and food preparation
  • Flexible in working various shifts including mornings and evenings as required
