Position Summary
The Site EHS (Environment Health & Safety) Specialist supports daytoday implementation and continuous improvement of EHS programs at a site level.
Main function/responsibility/competencies
Internal requirements
- Support in improvement and compliance with internal EHS requirements
- Collaboration with the site employees and cross functional teams to follow good practices
- Support and review of EHS activities at the site(s) including waste treatment management labor safety environment/safety initiatives
- Execution of incident management program (compilation review of accident reports participation to root cause analaysis compilation and reporting of accient statistics)
- Participation to contractor management activities including permit to work contractor evaluations and training
- Contribution to EHS projects both local and regional
- Support in the definition and delivery of the necessary EHS training to employees
External requirements
- Review monitor and support the notification/registrations (or any type of EHS related authorization) necessary to conduct the site operations.
- Review monitor and support the submittal of necessary reports to the authorities including but not limited to: PRTR. waste reporting reports to labor authorities
- Assist in the organization of various monitoring requirements for health and environment
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Education/Technical:
- Bachelors degree level (preferred)
- Able to communicate in English (business level preferred)
- Strong knowledge of main EHS related legal requirements in Japan
- 衛生管理者 certification
- Experience: more than 5 years in EHS related field (occupational safety environmental compliance)

- This role works closely with site-level production engineering quality HR and contractors to ensure the facility operates safely complies with legal requirements and fosters a strong EHS culture.
- This role works closely other EHS team members at Country (main) Regional and Group level as required.
