AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer for upstate New York. The candidate will be assigned to AECOMs Transportation Business Line and will work on a variety of design-build civil engineering projects for local state and federal agencies and private sector clients.
- The candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues to help the team meet project goals and comply with company standards.
- This individual will manage project or structure tasks on major projects and/or will supervise a number of professional engineers / entry-level engineers.
- Provides technical leadership for a specialty.
- Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields.
- Makes decisions independently on technical problems and methods and represents the organization in conferences.
- Resolves important questions and plans and coordinates work.
- Utilizes advanced techniques and the modifications and extension of theories precepts and practices of the field and related sciences and disciplines.
- Supervision and guidance relate largely to overall objectives critical issues new concepts and policy matters.
- Receives direction on unusual conditions and developments.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors Degree is Structural Engineering 8 years of transportation experience.
Must have a PE.
Experience working with New York DOT ( NYDOT ) and/or New York State Thruway Authority ( NYSTA ) standards.
Preferred Requirements:
10 years related experience
Master Degree in Structural Engineering
