Job Type / Schedule: Temp-to-Hire 2nd Shift Wednesday (11:00 PM - 5:00 AM) and Thursday-Saturday (5:00 PM - 5:00 AM) Overtime Required
Pronto Staffing is seeking a dependable machine operator for a busy local manufacturing facility.
Job Summary
Pronto Staffing is hiring a full-time operator to help move and manage products through the drying and heating process. You will work in a production setting using specialized equipment to move heavy loads. This role is a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented and enjoys active physical work.
Responsibilities
Use a transfer car and winch to move loaded carts into drying areas
Use hydraulic equipment to push carts onto specific tracks
Keep accurate records of inventory and equipment temperatures
Make manual adjustments to products using hands and basic tools
Communicate effectively with the team to keep production moving
Follow all safety rules and wear required protective gear
Requirements
Ability to speak and understand English
Experience operating machines is a plus
Basic record-keeping skills and ability to think logically
Must be able to follow detailed instructions and stay organized
Ability to work the specific 2nd shift schedule and required overtime
Work Environment
Perform strenuous manual labor in a fast-paced setting
Stand for long periods and remain physically active
Lift 4560 lbs repeatedly and up to 70 lbs as needed
Work in an indoor environment with extreme heat (90F to 110F) and humidity
Wear required gear including steel-toe boots hard hat and safety glasses
