Were looking for an experienced Surgical Center Administrator to oversee daily operations lead a high-performing team and ensure surgical efficiency and regulatory excellence in our outpatient surgery center. Key Responsibilities
1. Scheduling & Staffing - Youll spend 25% of your time on this responsibility.
- Ensure daily surgical and staff schedules are fully covered
- Manage per diem staffing anesthesiologists and last-minute gaps
- Reduce turnover times and improve patient throughput
- Communicate effectively with surgeons staff and vendors
2. Leadership & Team Development - Youll spend 25% of your time on this responsibility.
- Be the visible leader supporting operating room flow and team morale
- Lead hiring onboarding and annual evaluations
- Address staff needs and maintain a culture of high standards
- Host monthly staff meetings and drive compliance
3. Administrative & Compliance Oversight - Youll spend 50% of your time on this responsibility
- Maintain credentials licensing and compliance files
- Oversee contracts for medical equipment HVAC oxygen etc.
- Manage payroll and time cards for hourly and salaried staff
- Ensure regulatory training is completed and documented
Qualifications
- 3 years in healthcare or surgical center management
- Knowledge of compliance payroll insurance verification and billing
- Strong leadership communication and team management skills
- Bachelors degree required; Healthcare Admin or Business preferred
