Were looking for a Software Engineering Intern to own our Software/Platform team. You will:
  • Build and scale our web platform used by thousands of users globally ensuring it can handle growing user volumes and orders
  • Digitize and automate the end-to-end workflow of a dental labfrom order intake through digital design of dental appliances to manufacturing (e.g. 3D printing) and delivery
  • Think from the users perspective to turn complex workflows into intuitive experiences
  • Design and implement slick user interfaces with a focus on user-friendliness and efficiency
  • Build clean reusable and testable software components
Your profile
What you should bring to the team:
  • Currently pursuing a Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Engineering or related field
  • Solid understanding of at least one modern programming language (Python JavaScript Java or C)
  • Basic knowledge of software development principles and version control (Git)
  • Strong UX and design sensibilities
  • Available for a minimum 6-week internship ideally longer
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills in English

The Nice-to-haves:
  • Prior internship or project experience in software development
  • Familiarity with web technologies (React ) or cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP)
  • Interest in AI/ML applications or healthcare technology
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Experience in building complex web applications

Practical Requirements / Eligibility:
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Valid work authorization in Belgium
  • Able to work from our Leuven office at least 3 days per week
