Were looking for a Software Engineering Intern to own our Software/Platform team. You will:
- Build and scale our web platform used by thousands of users globally ensuring it can handle growing user volumes and orders
- Digitize and automate the end-to-end workflow of a dental labfrom order intake through digital design of dental appliances to manufacturing (e.g. 3D printing) and delivery
- Think from the users perspective to turn complex workflows into intuitive experiences
- Design and implement slick user interfaces with a focus on user-friendliness and efficiency
- Build clean reusable and testable software components

Practical Requirements / Eligibility:
- Currently pursuing a Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Engineering or related field
- Solid understanding of at least one modern programming language (Python JavaScript Java or C)
- Basic knowledge of software development principles and version control (Git)
- Strong UX and design sensibilities
- Available for a minimum 6-week internship ideally longer
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills in English
The Nice-to-haves:
- Prior internship or project experience in software development
- Familiarity with web technologies (React ) or cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP)
- Interest in AI/ML applications or healthcare technology
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Experience in building complex web applications

Practical Requirements / Eligibility:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Valid work authorization in Belgium
- Able to work from our Leuven office at least 3 days per week
