Job Summary

SSI is seekinga Satellite Flight Test SMEfor a role in Chantilly VA.

Role and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Capability Leads (Tranche level) and Capability Test Teams (Enterprise level) to develop the test plans procedures and coordinate all logistics for executing tests related to the capabilities (multiple capabilities may be tested in one test).

Provide systems engineering guidance in the development of test and evaluation plans system verification plans and other systems engineering processes and documents.

Oversees development of the detailed testing approach in accordance with the Enterprise strategy.

Develops test plans procedures and approvals.

Coordinates test execution and serves as Test Director for all events.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Physics Mathematics or relevant technical discipline.
20 years of experience.
Technical and analytic understanding of satellite testing processes.
Understanding of satellite acquisition and operations technology best practices.
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing detailed test plans.
Strong written and oral communications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
TS/SCI Clearance Required.
