Role Overview
We are looking for a Java Groovy Developer with strong knowledge of Java development and Groovy scripting. The candidate will be responsible for building backend services developing REST APIs and working with modern development frameworks in an Agile environment.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Develop and maintain applications using Java and Groovy scripting.
Build backend services and APIs using modern frameworks.
Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
Work with SQL databases to design and manage application data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Participate in code reviews testing and debugging activities.
Support application deployments and follow CI/CD best practices.
Maintain documentation and follow development standards.
Must Have Skills
23 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
Strong experience with Groovy scripting.
Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
Experience developing REST APIs and web services.
Experience working with SQL databases.
Good to Have Skills
Experience with Spring Boot or Spring Framework.
Familiarity with MySQL PostgreSQL or Oracle databases.
Experience using Git version control systems.
Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and in Agile development environments.
