Job Title: Inventory Maintenance Clerk

Classification: Full-Time non-exempt

Hourly rate: Ranges starting at $19.50 depending on experience

Reports to: Warehouse General Manager

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am- 3:30pm (occasional evenings/weekends as needed)

Location: In-Office (no remote) 5000 N Basin Ave. Portland OR 97217

General Summary: As an Inventory Maintenance Clerk you will be the logistical backbone of our Distribution Center. Your role is vital to ensure that materials jobs and supplies move efficiently through our facility. From the moment a truck hits the dock to the final delivery of finished goods between departments you ensure accuracy safety and organization every step of the way.


Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions:

  • Maintain real-time inventory levels utilizing our computer systems.
  • Perform cycle counts and ensure data integrity and maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Organize product face product and maintain clear and accurate placards in the racking.
  • Timely restock of pick locations from overs locations.
  • Consolidate client stores in the racking.
  • Oversees the recycling and disposals to keep the warehouse safe and organized.
  • Assist with product and material pulls ensuring production teams have the consumables they need to stay on schedule.
  • Unload incoming trucks verify deliveries against packing slips and confirm product counts to ensure absolute accuracy.
  • Handles the transportation of materials Work-in-Progress (WIP) and finished goods from department to department using a pallet jack and forklift as needed.
  • Responsible for maintaining data integrity across our core logistics platforms used to manage inventory track jobs and maintain warehouse records. Key systems: Veracore Common SKU and Monarch
  • Crosstrain as a Warehouse Associate and perform all other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the Distribution Center.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma GED or relevant experience.
  • Ability to read write and speak English; ability to communicate effectively.
  • Basic computer and email skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally and perform physical demands described below.
  • Consistent and dependable attendance. Must be able to work on a flexible schedule if required including potential overtime.

Preferred:

  • Experience with our core logistics platforms although comprehensive training is available.
  • Warehouse experience
  • Forklift experience a willingness to be certified is required. Training provided.

Additional Details

Work Environment: Work is performed in the warehouse where temperatures can fluctuate with extreme weather. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and sit; walk; use hands and fingers handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and push carts. The employee is occasionally required to stoop or kneel. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
