We are seeking a qualified Legal Counsel (U.S. market) with strong expertise in healthcare law telemedicine regulation and compliant medical advertising/marketing. The ideal candidate understands how medical services can be marketed in the U.S. including performance marketing traffic acquisition and digital advertising within regulated frameworks.
This role will support business models involving telemedicine healthcare services and medical lead generation or marketing platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise on the U.S. healthcare regulatory framework at both federal and state levels.
Analyze telemedicine compliance requirements across different states.
Review and structure compliant marketing funnels and landing pages for healthcare services.
Assess advertising practices for compliance with:
FDA regulations (where applicable)
FTC advertising standards
State medical board restrictions
Ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of patient data in marketing and lead-generation processes.
Structure affiliate and marketing agreements within healthcare regulatory constraints.
Review claims used in medical advertising to reduce regulatory and litigation risks.
Advise on patient acquisition models and medical lead generation frameworks.
Support corporate structuring research and contract drafting/adaptation for healthcare-related projects.
Coordinate with U.S.-based legal advisors on complex regulatory issues. Required Qualifications:
Law degree.
2-5 years of experience in healthcare/telemedicine laws.
Strong understanding of:
- Telehealth regulations.
- Medical advertising restrictions.
- Performance marketing compliance in healthcare.
- Experience advising digital health or telehealth companies.
Upper-Intermediate English or higher (daily communication with U.S. legal advisors).
Preferred Background:
Experience in medical marketing digital traffic or health-tech startups.
Experience working with marketing teams.
Understanding of affiliate lead generation and performance-based marketing structures.
Experience dealing with state-by-state compliance.
