Job Overview
The Inventory Control Auditoris responsible formanaging andmaintainingaccurateinventory levels across the Kansas City location. This role conducts regular cycle counts investigates discrepancies and ensures efficient material flow to support production operations. The position requires strong analytical skillsproficiencywith inventory systems and the ability to collaborate with procurement production and warehouse teams. Safe operation of powered industrial equipment isfor accessing inventory at elevated heights.
Highlights of your role
- Monitor andmaintaininventory levels to ensure adequate supply of materials for production.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
- Ability to safely use a Motorized Industrial Man Up Picker to count parts in top levels of warehouse (heights could bein excess of15 feet)
- Coordinate with procurement production and warehouse teams to manage inventory movements.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports toidentifytrends and areas for improvement.
- Promote a culture of safety and integrity by reporting hazards and participating in training initiatives.
Youre a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 23 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Proficiencywith Enterprise Asset Management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to safelyoperatepowered industrial equipment and obtain necessary certifications (forklift aerial lift).
- Comfortable working at heights (15 feet) andlifting upto 30 lbs.
- Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
