We empower entrepreneurs to scale their ventures create jobs and drive economic growth while focusing on social entrepreneurship development aid equal rights education environmental protection and support for people in need.
Tasks
Recruiting & Selection
- Develop and publish job descriptions for volunteer roles.
- Support resume screening candidate shortlisting and interview coordination.
- Co-design interview processes (AI-assisted where possible) and support hiring decisions.
HR Processes & Tools
- Optimize HR workflows using Odoo Community (HR module) and MS365 (NGO) tools.
- Leverage AI-based tools to automate repetitive HR tasks (e.g. CV parsing scheduling onboarding content).
- Contribute to setting up structured onboarding for new volunteers/staff.
Business Partnering
- Act as a sparring partner to the leadership team on HR strategy and policies.
- Provide guidance on volunteer engagement retention and motivation.
- Foster a value-driven inclusive and impact-focused work culture.
Requirements
Background
- At least 5 years of experience in HR Talent Acquisition or HR Business Partner roles.
- Previous experience in an NGO social enterprise or grant-based environment is a plus.
Skills
- Recruiting & interviewing.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with HRIS/ERP systems (Odoo experience is a plus).
- Interest in AI tools for improving HR efficiency.
Mindset
- Proactive structured and hands-on.
- Passionate about social entrepreneurship & impact in East Africa.
- Open to working in a multicultural fully remote volunteer-driven environment.
