Job Description
We are looking for a versatile and fast-moving writer to join the Creative Communications team at an iconic game studio in Stockholm. This role sits in a small team of writers responsible for shaping the voice of one of the most beloved games in the world. As a Creative Writer you will help communicate and support updates events features and stories to a global community across multiple channels. That means everything from articles and web copy to product messaging scripts for videos and event content. The team works across many different projects at the same time so flexibility curiosity and a love for writing are essential. You might be working on 610 parallel initiatives all with different audiences and tones of voice. One moment you are writing a playful community article the next a sharp product description or event script. Most importantly you genuinely love writing. You get energy from words storytelling and tone of voice. An affection for strategy is helpful but writing is what truly excites you. The team environment is collaborative low ego and supportive. Writers frequently review each others work help refine ideas and work together to produce content that resonates with the community.
What Youll Do
- Write and edit content across a wide range of formats and channels
- Produce articles web content and product copy for community updates and initiatives
- Contribute scripts for marketing pieces videos and event productions
- Adapt tone of voice for different audiences projects and formats
- Collaborate closely with other writers marketing teams and producers
- Manage several parallel projects while meeting deadlines
What Were Looking For
- Native-level written English and the ability to write clearly without relying on AI tools
- Strong copywriting skills and a flexible writing style
- A genuine love for writing and storytelling
- Ability to adapt tone of voice for very different audiences
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects simultaneously
- Fast efficient and confident on the keyboard

- Low ego and comfortable giving and receiving feedback
You are someone who enjoys writing above all else. Your pen is both broad and flexible. You can write almost anything for anyone and you know how to find the right tone every time.
Additional Requirements
- You must have played a very particular sandbox game where players explore a block-built world and shape it however they imagine.
- You understand the game mechanics and its community
- Ability to work with multiple teams across Stockholm and the US
Practical Details
This is a temporary role (18 months) starting as soon as possible depending on availability. The role is full time based in Stockholm hybrid set-up with 2 days/week onsite at the studio. Junior applicants may also be considered if you are able to demonstrate strong writing ability drive and the right mindset. There will be a small writing test consisting of one article and one shorter writing assignment.
