Job Description
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Upscale Residentialin Wellington FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a residential community where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine patrols stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and assist residents and guests with professional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post so you will use a company-approved vehicle to cover the property document activity and work as part of a reliable agile team that leads with integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents guests and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a residential community.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of community roads common areas amenities and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Control access through gates and/or entry points by verifying authorization issuing visitor instructions and monitoring inbound and outbound traffic flow.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting appropriate resources and supporting arriving responders.
- Complete detailed reports and logs monitor cameras and/or alarms when assigned and communicate observed hazards or policy concerns to site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of law enforcement military police and/or corrections experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
