Truck Driver - Tandem Dump

Key Information:

Hours: Project dependent. Usual work schedule is Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (8 hours of regular time; 2 hours of overtime)
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends. (when necessary)
Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

Job Description:

Carrying out pre and post trip vehicle and trailer inspections.
Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness.
Making sure that the loads are correctly and safely distributed.
Loading and unloading materials.
Filling out Waybills.
Driving to and from destinations.

Experience and Certification Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years experience with end dump.
Tandem experience required.
Valid Class 1 or 3 Alberta drivers license with air brakes is required.
A clean 5-year commercial drivers abstract is required and must be obtained within 30 days prior to employment start date.
A reliable means of transportation is required.
Proficient English language skills required.

Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
