Housekeeping Room Attendant
As a Housekeeping Room Attendant you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms to HVMGs high standards of cleanliness and comfort. Your duties include making beds replenishing amenities and ensuring a welcoming environment for each guest. This role reports to the Executive Housekeeper.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be the key to ensuring our hotel guests enjoy a clean comfortable and welcoming environment during their stay.
- Your daily tasks will include making beds vacuuming dusting and maintaining cleanliness in guest rooms.
- You will report to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
- A career as a housekeeping room attendant can lead to opportunities in various roles within the hospitality industry such as housekeeping supervisor executive housekeeper or even a managerial position in hotel operations.
- Room Cleaning & Resetting
- Make beds replace linens arrange towels and restock amenities.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms showers sinks toilets and mirrors.
- Dust wipe surfaces clean appliances (kitchenettes in suites) and remove trash.
- Vacuum carpets mop hard floors and maintain overall room cleanliness.
- Daily Room Servicing
- Follow hotel procedures for daily servicestayover service and checkout cleans.
- Replenish guest amenities (soap shampoo coffee paper goods
- Quality & Safety
- Conduct room inspections or support supervisors in ensuring rooms meet Hilton brand standards.
- Report maintenance issues to the front desk or engineering team.
- Follow safety protocols chemical handling rules and company cleanliness standards.
- Professional Expectations
- Friendly serviceoriented interactions with guests and coworkers.
- Reliable attendance and ability to follow scheduling requirements.
- Ability to work independently and maintain pace to meet daily room quotas.
- Physical Requirements
- Standing bending lifting (often 2030 lbs) pushing housekeeping carts.
- Ability to clean multiple rooms efficiently and consistently.
Education & Experience
Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have:
- A combination of education and experience

- Eligible to work in the United States
- Sufficient education and/or literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
- Ability to sit stand bend kneel and lift as requiredwith or without reasonable accommodations
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays if needed
