Job Summary

The Quality Assurance (QA) Test Manager will lead and manage testing activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This role is responsible for developing testing strategies coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) managing defect resolution processes and ensuring software quality across multiple platforms. The QA Test Manager will collaborate with internal teams business stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful testing execution and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced managerial and analytical tasks related to quality assurance and software testing activities.

• Lead testing efforts across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Analyze diagnose and resolve reported software issues while troubleshooting system problems.

• Define and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies including coordination of testing resources and subject matter experts.

• Guide teams through testing phases including pre-release and soft UAT testing activities.

• Coordinate sprint review feedback between development teams and business stakeholders.

• Review test cases created by development teams and collaborate with stakeholders to recommend improvements.

• Work with business users and subject matter experts to create update and execute test cases.

• Document and report test results including pass/fail status defects and issues identified during testing.

• Serve as the primary point of contact between IT teams business users and development vendors.

• Lead defect triage processes including tracking prioritizing and managing software defects.

• Analyze defect trends perform root cause analysis and recommend process improvements.

• Provide regular updates on testing progress defect status and project quality metrics.

• Ensure testing coverage and requirement traceability are maintained throughout the project.

• Confirm all UAT exit criteria are met and obtain final business approval before production deployment.

• Perform additional duties and testing-related activities as assigned by project leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience managing and overseeing software testing activities.

• Experience managing User Acceptance Testing performance testing accessibility testing interface testing security testing and data conversion testing.

• Strong experience managing monitoring and reporting on testing activities across modern technology platforms.

• Proven ability to develop review and update test strategies test suites and test cases.

• Experience documenting and reporting test results data conversion issues integration issues and defect status reports.

• Experience providing training mentoring and leadership to QA and testing team members.

• Experience coordinating testing schedules team resources and testing meetings.

• Hands-on experience with testing and automation tools such as Jira TestSavvy JUnit Selenium Micro Focus UFT and SQL.

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with emphasis on testing practices.

• Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.

• Excellent leadership communication organizational planning and problem-solving skills.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance monitoring tools such as JProfiler JMeter or similar technologies.

• Experience working with Salesforce-based applications.

• Previous experience working in a QA Test Manager or leadership role within enterprise environments.

• Experience leading QA teams or managing testing projects.
