Job Summary
Position Description:
In this role we are looking not only for a strong Product Designer but also for someone with a technical mindset who can bridge the worlds of design and development. You will co-create and evolve the Design System ensuring its consistency with frontend implementation and supporting the efficient translation of designs into code.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable operating at the intersection of design and technology and understands how designed solutions translate into real-world implementation.
This position requires working on-site from our Warsaw office with occasional remote work
Job responsibilities:
Participation in projects for the worlds leading global fintech companies
Working in a multilingual international and multicultural environment on global projects
Working in a dynamic and friendly environment
Enhancing user experience (UX) through visual means tailored to user needs and cognitive capabilities
Ensuring usability and visual consistency of our digital products
Designing final UI views and assets for web and mobile solutions
Researching developing and implementing design solutions for acquiring portals e-commerce platforms and mobile applications
Creating and presenting interaction design concepts (wireframes) prototypes and final designs
Direct collaboration with users designing concepts and prototypes for testing identifying key unmet needs and rapidly prototyping solutions for complex problems. Translating these solutions into the needs of our clients merchants and financial institutions. Analyzing research and test results and recommending the best design solutions
Monitoring UX/UI trends and technologies
Ambition to design applications that can compete with Revolut Stripe or Klarna
Developing and maintaining the Design System with consideration for its implementation in code (in collaboration with frontend teams)
Supporting the design-to-code process (Figma frontend) including optimizing handoff
Close collaboration with developers to ensure consistency between design and implementation
Creating components and design solutions that take into account technological constraints and possibilities
Contributing to defining standards for designdevelopment collaboration
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Minimum 4/2 years of experience in Product Design
Very good command of English both spoken and written
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas and propose solutions to stakeholders
Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in social sciences interaction design industrial design or a related field
Proven experience in user interface design supported by a portfolio
Very good/good knowledge of the UX design process and experience in conducting user research
Very good/good knowledge of Figma; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
Ability to translate user insights into ideas concepts and products
Hands-on experience working with and developing a Design System
Ability to deliver high-quality design assets
Senior: experience working in a corporate environment within a large organization
Very good command of English and Polish
Willingness to work on-site in our Warsaw office mandatory requirement
Understanding of frontend development basics (HTML CSS and modern frameworks)
Experience working with development teams in a technical environment
Understanding of the design-to-code process (design handoff working with repositories and components)
Experience working with a Design System at the level of development and maintenance (not only usage)
Nice to have: experience with tools and processes supporting designdevelopment integration (e.g. Storybook design tokens CI/CD)
