Job Summary

THIS POSITION IS FOR UPPERCLASSMEN ONLY. FRESHMEN ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR DEPARTMENT POSITIONS.

Purpose of Position: Provide assistance to the Athletic Department by providing marketing assistance for the athletic teams

Expected hours of work per week: 10-20

Work Location & Hours: Ashe Gym; Mon- Sat 8am-4:30pm

Duties and/or Responsibilities:

Promoting and celebrating our student-athletes
Set up Game Day signage
Manage Blue Crew social media platforms
Build and coordinate sponsorship relations
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Attend weekly meetings

Position Requirements:

Able to work without direct supervision
Able to effectively communicate
Must be current or incoming freshmen Covenant Student

Other:

Night and weekend work may be required

Resume skills development (NACE Competencies required by employers) to be developed

Communication in the form of - social media communicating between supervisors and team members to collaborate
Leadership through- taking ownership of a job given and having the ability to host events with direction and theme.
Professionalism by- making all attending events feel welcomed and hosted well. Creating graphics that communicate strong design skills. Ability to follow a brand
Teamwork including- collaboration with teams and coaches
Technology- proficiency in graphic design for social media and other posts/videos
