Purpose of Position: Provide assistance to the Athletic Department by providing marketing assistance for the athletic teams
Expected hours of work per week: 10-20
Work Location & Hours: Ashe Gym; Mon- Sat 8am-4:30pm
Duties and/or Responsibilities:
- Promoting and celebrating our student-athletes
- Set up Game Day signage
- Manage Blue Crew social media platforms
- Build and coordinate sponsorship relations
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Attend weekly meetings
Position Requirements:
- Able to work without direct supervision
- Able to effectively communicate
- Must be current or incoming freshmen Covenant Student
Other:
- Night and weekend work may be required
Resume skills development (NACE Competencies required by employers) to be developed
- Career & Self-Development including-time management scheduling taking personal responsibility for job asked to accomplish
- Communication in the form of - social media communicating between supervisors and team members to collaborate
- Leadership through- taking ownership of a job given and having the ability to host events with direction and theme.
- Professionalism by- making all attending events feel welcomed and hosted well. Creating graphics that communicate strong design skills. Ability to follow a brand
- Teamwork including- collaboration with teams and coaches
- Technology- proficiency in graphic design for social media and other posts/videos
