Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire HSE Technicians for a manufacturing warehouse located in White!

Qualifications for HSE Technicians:

After meeting all of PPS standard qualifications Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.

• Must be used to a manufacturing setting.

• Comfortable documenting incidents inspections and action items.

• Basic computer skills (Excel report and training logs).

• Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Assignment Duties for HSE Technicians:

• Daily warehouse safety walks.

• Ensure operators are certified use proper equipment and watch for unsafe behaviors.

• Confirm trailer stand and locks are used.

• Observe loading/unloading to ensure no line-of-fire hazards.

• PPE and housekeeping checks to ensure gloves high-vis vests and other PPE are worn.

• Near miss and hazard observation reviews and follow up on submitted observation form all employees.

• Daily team huddle participation to provide safety updates and listen for safety concerns from drivers or associates.

• Ergonomics monitoring to observe repetitive motion tasks and coach employees on proper form.

• Ensure stretch wrappers have guards and procedures are followed.

• Check for damaged equipment or emergency stop issues.

• Log daily findings and follow up from walkthroughs update hazard trackers communicate urgent issues to supervisors log incidents and near misses into velocity and help maintain records and SDS.

• Verify new hires or temps have completed required safety onboarding and make sure lockout training and PIT training are current.

• Ensure contractor permits are filled and monitor their work for safe practice.

• Perform monthly spill kit and ladder inspections.

• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Shift Details: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-5:00PM

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
