A critical element of the role is the delivery of AIcentric and technologyenabled transformation initiatives requiring proven experience in implementing AIdriven or advanced digital solutions within complex operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Transformation Delivery
- Own and deliver a defined portfolio of global transformation projects aligned to Southern Water operational and strategic priorities.
- Lead endtoend project delivery across multiple geographies including scoping planning RAID management milestones benefits tracking and closure.
- Apply robust project delivery disciplines to ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and within agreed cost.
- Translate global transformation strategy into practical executable delivery plans that can be embedded locally.
- Provide clear concise project reporting and escalation of risks interdependencies and delivery constraints.
AICentric Transformation & Technology Enablement
- Lead the delivery of AIenabled and datadriven transformation initiatives including automation digital workflow optimisation and advanced analytics where applicable.
- Ensure AI and technology solutions are operationally viable scalable and embedded into daytoday ways of working.
- Partner with Technology Data and CI teams to ensure solutions are delivered with minimal manual intervention and maximum operational impact.
Transformation & Change Enablement
- Deliver transformation initiatives focused on process change capability uplift operating model evolution and technology enablement.
- Embed CI and Lean principles within projects partnering with specialist CI resources where required.
- Track evidence and report realised benefits including productivity cost quality and customer experience improvements.
Governance & Ways of Working
- Establish and maintain appropriate global project governance for a deliveryled transformation environment.
- Standardise project templates tools and reporting across geographies.
- Actively manage risks dependencies and interlocks across the global project portfolio.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a trusted delivery partner to Southern Water senior leadership and operational teams.
- Engage effectively with regional and global stakeholders to ensure alignment and pace of delivery.
Capability Building
- Support uplift in project and change delivery capability across Southern Water teams.
- Coach delivery leads and operational managers involved in transformation initiatives.

Professional KnowHow
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business Operations Engineering Technology or a related field.
Experience
- 710 years experience in project delivery transformation leadership or operational change roles.
- Proven experience delivering global or multigeography transformation programmes.
- Demonstrated delivery of AIcentric digital or automationenabled solutions within operational or service environments.
- Strong background in handson executionled transformation rather than purely strategic or advisory roles.
- Working knowledge of Lean CI Agile or structured project methodologies.
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong delivery leadership and handson project management capability.
- Ability to translate complex transformation agendas into executable delivery plans.
- Dataliterate with strong benefits tracking and reporting capability.
- Confident operating in a Head of Project Delivery / Global Transformation Director capacity.
- Clear concise communicator with strong stakeholder credibility.

Internal: Southern Water leadership Operations HR Technology Data Finance CI and Support teams across geographies
External: Technology partners and vendors as required for AIenabled transformation initiatives
Working Model
Hybrid with travel as required to support global transformation delivery across Southern Water.
