The Lifestyle/ Wellbeing Assistant supports development and delivery meaningful activities to enhance the wellbeing and lifestyle of our residents

About the opportunity

• We welcome a qualified full-time enthusiastic Wellbeing Assistant to join our team to work at Mercy Place Dandenong.

• Support the delivery ofholistic wellbeing programsthat promote engagement and social connection.

• Provideindividualized one-on-one supportfor residents.

• Assist withassessments and care plan reviewsto ensure wellbeing needs are met.

• Collaborate withclinical staffto support residents overall wellbeing.

• Create memorable experienceswhether itsoutings social events or unique activitiessuch as a game lunch at the local pub or a scenic helicopter joy flight over Phillip Island.

What youll bring

To thrive in this role you will have:

• Support the delivery of lifestyle and wellbeing programs.

• Provide one-on-one support for residents.

• Review and evaluation of wellbeing care plans and assessments.

• Provide an exceptional stakeholder experience.

• Work collaboratively with clinical staff to ensure residents wellbeing needs are being met.

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle.

• Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards.

• Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations.

• 2025 Influenza Vaccination.

• NDIS Check.

• Proof of eligibility to work in Australia.

You will also be required to provide evidence of or in the process of obtaining:

• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.

• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
