Location: Syracuse NY
Shift: Night Shift
Schedule: Includes every other weekend and some holidays
Pay:
Local: $2001 per week
Travel: $2587 per week
Job Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the Emergency Department / ICU Holding Unit. The nurse will provide care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced acute care environment while working closely with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Responsibilities
Provide direct care to critically ill patients
Perform patient assessments and continuous monitoring
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Document patient care using EPIC EMR
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the care team
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to coordinate care
Follow hospital policies and patient safety standards
Educate patients and families about care and treatment plans
Requirements
Active New York RN License
BLS Certification
Minimum 1.5 years of recent ICU experience (within the last 2 years) in an acute care hospital
Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
Preferred Experience
Experience in Emergency Department (ED)
Experience in Level I or Level II Trauma Centers
Experience using EPIC EMR
