Summary:

Tavernonna is seeking a motivated Part-Time Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining consistency efficiency and attention to detail during service. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment takes pride in their craft and values teamwork in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Tavernonna recipes and quality standards
• Assist with daily kitchen prep including sauces vegetables proteins and pasta preparation
• Maintain consistency and attention to detail in plating and presentation
• Ensure a clean organized and safe workstation throughout each shift
• Follow all food safety sanitation and kitchen safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen team members during service
• Report equipment issues shortages or safety concerns to kitchen leadership
• Assist with opening closing and general kitchen maintenance duties
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment

Qualifications:

• 2 years of restaurant or kitchen experience preferred
• Passion for cooking and working with fresh ingredients
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays
