Job Summary

Job Description:

A construction manageroversees construction projects from conception to completion ensuring they are finished safely on time and within budget. They manage the entire process including hiring subcontractors scheduling budgeting and ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

Planning and Budgeting:Developing detailed cost estimates work plans and schedules.
Coordination:Managing on-site personnel subcontractors and vendors to ensure smooth workflow.
Safety and Compliance:
Monitoring the site for safety hazards implementing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with local state and federal regulations.

Communication:Acting as the liaison between owners engineers architects and the construction team to provide progress updates.
Problem-Solving:Making on-the-spot decisions to resolve delays emergencies or unexpected issues.

Construction managers may work from a field office using software to manage contracts documentation and project tracking. They are responsible for the quality of work and ensuring the project meets the owners specifications.
