At FryeCare Nephrology (formerly Hickory Adult Medicine and Kidney Specialists) our highly skilled physician and staff specialize in the evaluation diagnosis and treatment of both chronic and acute diseases of the kidney.
We treat each patient as an individual and are dedicated to combining clinical expertise a focus on wellness and a personalized touch to provide each patient with the best possible care plan. We are dedicated to delivering quality health care to our patients and have extensive training in kidney disorders and minimally invasive techniques to diagnose and treat kidney disease.
We are a proud member of the FryeCare Physicians Network and are affiliated with Frye Regional Medical Center.
FryeCare Nephrology offers treatment for:
- Chronic kidney disease including diabetic nephropathy
- Chronic kidney failure
- Diabetes
- End-stage kidney disease
- Hypertension
Nephrology services we provide include:
Diagnoses and treatment of a variety of rheumatic diseases including:
- Comprehensive blood and urine analysis
- Kidney transplantation referral
- Management of electrolyte derangements
- Pre-dialysis evaluation

ACertified Medical Assistant (CMA)who excels in this role:
- Accurately identifies patient needs
- Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record

What were looking for- a motivated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant who will be a vital link between our patients and providers possessing a deep commitment to delivering excellent care with efficiency and a positive attitude.
Applicants should have :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CMA or RMA or CCMA via the AAMA or NHA must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
- Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- One year of experience preferred
