WHAT DOES YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE
- Working Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Wearing personal protective equipment and following all safety protocols quality standards production guidelines and customer requirements
- Using hand and power tools to accurately cut and assemble hydraulic hoses
- Maintaining a neat work area and completing accurate documentation (inspection paperwork inventory records etc.)
- Coordinating with management and team members to meet timelines and efficiently complete orders
- Identifying and working through nonconformance of products/standards
- Leading by example and complying with all quality safety and compliance practices
- Participating in ongoing training and cross-training in different business areas
- Handling additional responsibilities as needed
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES
To become our Hose Assembler - Production Technician youll need to meet the following:
- 18 years old
- Willingness to learn and follow standard business practices
- High school degree or GED equivalent
- Ability to use tools and equipment like saws crimpers forklifts etc.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret technical documents and work instructions
- Ability to lift 65 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
- Ability to read tape measures and digital calipers
- Ability to build rapport and foster trust with teammates
- Basic math skills (adding subtracting multiplying and dividing)
- Basic computer skills with the ability to type 25 wpm
- Multitasking time management and task prioritization skills
- Clear concise and effective verbal and written communication skills
Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment would be preferred. Forklift certification would also be a bonus but were willing to train. You could also jump in to serve as a backup driver if youd like! Youll just need to be 21 years old and have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
