What Will You Get To Do:
- Translate the needs and customer requirements into technical specifications/design inputs
- Provide input and oversight of activities of the Product Engineers
- Work with customers to define all product application requirements necessary to gain product approval for production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure final submissions accurately include all tooling and equipment
- Ensure product design meets product cost and overall capital budget parameters and is summarized for the project leads
- Ensure test and analysis validates the design meets requirements and is approved for production
- Solve technical issues associated with customer and product demands
- Work directly with Advance Quality Engineer (AQE) to ensure quality planning meets customer documentation needs
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of APQP documents (DFMEADVP&R etc.)
What Will You Bring:
- 5 years of experience in Product Applications or Designing Engineer
- Proven knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning Tolerancing)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (BSM BSMET)
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite 3D CAD and ERP system
