Do you have a strong drive for delivering value to clients within market expansion and growth in a highly international context Would you like to work in the intersection of business and diplomacy interacting with executives and public officials while helping Swedish companies reach their full international potential Take this opportunity as we now are looking for an Associate / Consultant to join our team in Vienna.

Business Sweden works with leading multinational companies and start-ups across all industries and our clients business is often driven by digitalization innovation and sustainability. Our consultancy services include e.g. market entry & growth strategies including M&A sales acceleration tech scouting as well as Public Affairs support. We help Swedish companies enter new markets understand market dynamics identify local partners appreciate the regulatory landscape and build out their services or product offering.

Our focus is to grow the advisory part of our business and to become even more relevant in most important business ecosystems to help propel the international growth of Swedish companies. To help drive this journey we are currently looking for an associate to join our team.

From our Vienna office which currently consists of a team of seven you will join Region Europe operating from 14 local offices. From Vienna we cover Austria Switzerland Hungary Western Balkans and Israel though many projects span across the region.

The roles include both strategic tactic and operational responsibilities such as:

  • Collecting analysing and presenting information and insights which you will get from interactions with external stakeholders on the market.
  • It is important that the applicant is experienced and skilled in being in contact with multiple external stakeholders at the same time.
  • For the Consultant position contributing in more complex projects and having responsibility for larger workstreams.
  • Supporting senior colleagues in sales dialogues by insight-driven development of new business opportunities as well as prospecting.
  • Preparing and arranging trade delegations round table discussions and B2B meetings for Swedish companies.
  • We expect that you enjoy driving own initiatives as well as teamwork as the role comes with a high degree of freedom and responsibility.

The role is based in Vienna but you will be expected to work with our teams and clients around the world as required.
