We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our team and play a key role in driving operational excellence and supporting strategic supply chain decisions across our global business.

About the role

As a Supply Chain Analyst you will collaborate closely with Supply Planners Sales Controlling Operations AP and Marketing to ensure accurate planning cost efficiency and strong supply chain performance for both NSP and Bitumen. You will be part of the Supply Chain department reporting to the Supply Chain Manager Naphthenics and work from our head office in Stockholm. This is a temporary role for a 12 month assignment.

A central part of your role is to track analyse and forecast supply chain costs and share insights with Sales and Controlling. You will contribute to monthly planning cycles provide weekly and monthly forecasts and support decision-making with clear analytical input.

You will also drive supply chain analysis and optimisation initiatives. This includes leading business case studies conducting scenario modelling supporting inventory management reviews preparing budget inputs and delivering presentations that enable management to make informed decisions.

Core responsibilities

Planning Forecasting & Cost Performance

  • Prepare and share monthly forecast feedback with Sales.
  • Update weekly base oil price developments and provide purchasing guidance to the Global Supply Planner.
  • Deliver monthly early-warning forecasts to Controlling for NSP and Bitumen including logistics cost follow-up.

Supply Chain Analysis & Optimisation

  • Lead projects and business case studies evaluating economic benefits from supply chain footprint optimisation and scenario modelling.
  • Support inventory management analysis and provide data for Inventory Review meetings.

Budgeting & Cost Management

  • Provide input (recipes purchasing formulas scope) to Corporate Planning.
  • Prepare and follow up budgets for depot operations shipping packed goods and base oil/Bitumen purchasing.
  • Coordinate claim handling and collaborate with insurance bodies.

About you

You are detail-oriented structured and comfortable managing multiple deadlines. You enjoy working cross-functionally and have strong communication skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.

Your qualifications

  • University degree in Supply Chain Management Industrial Engineering or MSc in Economics.
  • Several years of experience in supply chain planning analytics or forecasting (ideally in a manufacturing or process industry environment).
  • Strong analytical skills withexperience using planning or optimisation tools.
  • Solid mathematical and calculation abilities.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management cost analysis and forecasting methods.
  • High proficiency in Excel and data-processing tools; experience with BI tools or planning systems is a plus.
