Fisher College a private not-for-profit institution located in the historic Back Bay district in the heart of Boston is committed to providing transformative higher education experiences. With small class sizes personalized instruction and dedicated faculty Fisher supports students in pursuing their passions and preparing for meaningful careers. The School of Management and Communications at Fisher College invites qualified candidates to apply for full-time faculty member to teach various management courses. Standard faculty requirements including training course preparation grading and responsibilities include training course preparation grading and student communication. Additional Responsibilities of full-time faculty include academic advising as well as service to College and Community. Faculty teach four courses per academic semester. This is on-campus position at the Boston Campus

Essential Duties:

  • Teach four undergraduate courses each semester in Management including but not limited to Economics Entrepreneurship Principles of Management Organizational Behavior Operations Management and other related topics. These courses are taught in person on the Boston Campus.
  • Remain current in industry and educational trends to ensure relevancy and currency of the curriculum.
  • Advise and mentor undergraduate students.
  • Serve on various college and departmental committees.
  • Develop and deliver student related curriculum enhancements including field trips speakers programs.



Qualifications

Requirements for the position include:

  • A minimum of a Masters degree in Business Management or a related field (Ph.D. preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of college level Management teaching experience
  • Higher education teaching experience required
  • Professional industry experience and contacts entrepreneurship experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Canvas preferred
  • Demonstrated success in undergraduate teaching.
  • A proven commitment to inclusive pedagogy and the ability to foster a supportive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students faculty and staff across a wide range of academic cultural and social identities.
