Come join a vibrant and affable group of faculty in the Department of Computer Science & Computer Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosses College of Science and Health. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about teaching and is committed to fostering a forward-thinking curriculum that will prepare students for an ever-evolving discipline. Youll be responsible for teaching a variety of courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level building and maintaining an active research program advising students and engaging in professional service. Exceptional candidates in all areas of Computer Science Computer Engineering or closely related fields will be considered with a preference for candidates having expertise in the areas of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Under general supervision of the department chair individuals in these positions are responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses and advising addition to preparing for and holding classes teaching involves maintaining currency in the content area related to the teaching assignment evaluating students work assessing student outcomes maintaining appropriate records and holding office hours. These individuals are expected to maintain an active on-going program of scholarship appropriate to the addition these individuals will provide service to the department college and university and are likely expected to provide service to the community
and/or the profession. Other duties may be assigned by the chair or dean.
