Job Summary

Tax Director Trust & Estate Oversight

Location: Denver Metro Denver Tech Center (Hybrid)

A growing CPA firm in the Denver Tech Center area is looking to add a Tax Director to its leadership team. The firm currently has around 20 professionals and is actively expanding with plans to grow to 30 employees by the end of the year due to strong new business demand.

This is a unique leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys guiding a team solving complex tax matters and helping shape the direction of a growing firm.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a technical resource for trust and estate related tax matters
Oversee and review complex tax engagements
Provide leadership and mentorship to tax staff and seniors
Assist with client planning and advisory work
Support the continued growth of the firm and client base
Work closely with firm leadership on strategy and client service

While trust and estate expertise is valuable this will not be your sole focus. You will serve more as the go-to advisor for trust/estate related questions and planning strategies.

The firm is also hiring Tax Staff / Seniors creating strong opportunities for team leadership and growth.

Qualifications

8 years of public accounting tax experience
Strong tax review and planning experience
Background working with high-net-worth individuals trusts or estates
CPA preferred
