The Vice President of Enterprise Quality & Compliance provides executive leadership and oversight of Corporate Compliance Risk Management Health Information Management and Enterprise Quality Programs for Care Synergy and its Affiliates.
This role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance accreditation readiness quality performance optimization and enterprise risk mitigation across all hospices palliative care bereavement CAPABLE wellness and PACE services.
The VP serves as the designated Compliance Officer for Care Synergy and provides strategic oversight of compliance infrastructure regulatory adherence performance improvement initiatives and Board-level quality reporting. The position ensures enterprise alignment of quality standards audit functions and corrective action processes across Affiliates.
The success of this role will be measured by regulatory outcomes audit performance publicly reported quality metrics and effective enterprise risk mitigation.
Enterprise Compliance & Risk Management
- Serves as Corporate Compliance Officer for Care Synergy.
- Leads and maintains the Corporate Compliance and Risk Management programs across all Affiliates.
- Leads the Health Information Management functions at Care Synergy and its Affiliates.
- Ensures compliance with:
- CMS Conditions of Participation (Hospice & PACE)
- State and federal regulations
- Accreditation standards
- OIG guidance
- Establishes and oversees annual enterprise compliance audit plans.
- Leads internal investigations related to compliance concerns.
- Oversees governmental regulatory and accreditation reporting requirements.
- Develops and monitors corrective action plans to ensure sustained compliance.
Enterprise Quality Oversight
- Establishes enterprise-wide quality strategy across hospice palliative care bereavement CAPABLE wellness and PACE services.
- Analyzes publicly reported and internal quality metrics including:
- Hospice Item Set (HIS).
- CAHPS Hospice.
- PACE quality measures.
- Incident and complaint data.
- Other regulatory or performance indicators.
- Provides in-depth statistical analysis and trending to leadership and Boards.
- Recommends strategic modifications to improve patient participant and family outcomes.
Board & Executive Reporting
- Leads the Care Synergy Quality Committee.
- Provides routine reporting to:
- CEO
- Executive Leadership
- Affiliate Presidents
- Affiliate Board Quality Committees
- Ensures transparency and proactive risk communication.
Policy & Regulatory Infrastructure
- Oversees development and maintenance of enterprise compliance and risk policies.
- Reviews and updates policies to reflect regulatory changes and best practices.
- Ensures standardized compliance framework across Affiliates while respecting program-specific regulatory differences (Hospice vs. PACE).

- Minimum 10 years of healthcare leadership experience
- Minimum 5 years progressive senior leadership roles in healthcare quality compliance or risk management
- Hospice Palliative Care Home Care and/or PACE experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in leading organizations through healthcare accreditation processes with TJC or CHAAP or ACH
- Required License: Valid Colorado drivers license and proof of automobile insurance in accordance with state statute.
