We are seeking an experienced and visionary Practice Clinical Lead to oversee clinical operations in Portman dental and Implant clinic Scunthorpe. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will drive clinical excellence lead a dedicated team and ensure the highest standards of patient care across both practices. The successful candidate will be a decisive clinical professional with a proven track record of managing dental teams and a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Lead and manage clinical teams across both dental practices providing professional supervision guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and staff engagement Oversee all clinical governance quality assurance and compliance matters ensuring adherence to GDC standards and relevant dental regulations Develop and implement clinical protocols treatment pathways and best practice guidelines to maintain consistent high-quality patient care across both sites Conduct regular clinical audits and appraisals identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Manage clinical budgets and resources effectively optimising efficiency whilst maintaining clinical standards Lead staff induction training and professional development programmes to enhance clinical competency and career progression Maintain direct clinical responsibilities as required demonstrating clinical expertise and leading by example Liaise with practice management to ensure seamless integration of clinical and operational objectives
- Monitor patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes implementing improvements based on feedback and performance data Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations infection control protocols and data protection requirements Foster a supportive collaborative working environment that promotes professional development and team cohesion
Qualifications :
- Current GDC registration as a dental professional with a valid practising licence Minimum 5 years clinical experience in dental practice Proven leadership experience managing dental teams in a practice setting Strong knowledge of dental practice management systems and clinical governance frameworks Excellent people management and communication skills Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop team members Strong organisational and time-keeping abilities
- Proficiency with dental practice management software and digital systems Knowledge of relevant dental regulations compliance requirements and quality standards Ability to make decisive clinical and managerial decisions Desirable: Experience managing multiple dental practices or sites Desirable: Mentoring or coaching experience within a clinical setting Desirable: Continuing Professional Development in practice management or clinical leadership
