As an early Senior Backend Engineer you will architect the backbone of a platform that transforms messy enterprise spend data into actionable intelligence using agentic AI. Youll build high-volume low-latency systems and scalable data engines that deliver results in minutes for global companies directly impacting the trajectory of this fast-growing well-funded startup.

What you will do:

• Architect and maintain mission-critical data ingestion and processing engines capable of handling massive datasets from diverse enterprise formats.

• Design and ship high-performance well-documented APIs to support low-latency requirements for global enterprise operations.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate customer business challenges into robust technical solutions through rapid ideation and experimentation.

The ideal candidate:

• 5 years of experience in backend engineering with deep expertise in object-oriented programming specifically within cloud environments like AWS GCP or Azure.

• Proven track record of applying SOLID principles Domain-Driven Design and Clean Architecture to build scalable production-grade microservices.

• Strong passion for software craftsmanship and applied AI with the ability to distinguish between strategic technical debt and poor architectural choices.
