Job Summary

To provide efficient administrative and customer service support within the sales office ensuring customer enquiries and orders are handled promptly and professionally. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong customer relationships and supporting daily sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor the customer service inbox responding to queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide live chat support to customers assisting with enquiries in real time
  • Process and input customer orders accurately onto the system
  • Answer incoming customer service calls and deal confidently with enquiries
  • Provide general administrative support to the sales team
  • Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
  • Escalate complex issues to the Sales Manager where appropriate
  • Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times

This role is a 9 month fixed term contract with possibility to extend to 12 months.

This is a term time only position working 4 days per week 8.30am - 5pm.


Qualifications :

Essential:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Comfortable managing live chat platforms and email enquiries
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and general IT systems

Desirable:

  • Experience in order processing
  • Experience working within a sales office environment
