Job Description
As a Security Officer - Hospital Screener in Winter Haven FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff patients and visitors through strong communication quick issue reporting and professional customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and/or staff by following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures access control requirements and emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner requesting additional support and/or medical assistance as needed per site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity identify unusual conditions and report concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Control entry and monitor assigned areas verifying credentials directing foot and vehicle traffic and assisting with visitor management in accordance with site policy.
- Complete timely documentation such as patrol logs incident reports and shift handoffs and communicate observations to supervisors client representatives and/or local responders as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
