  • Administration Service Delivery Standard

  • Employee maintains respectful relationships and interactions with other employees management board members community members clients and survivors. They conduct themselves in a manner that demonstrates integrity and a commitment to the organizations mission.   • Employee has strong autonomy skills and requires minimal supervision of day-to-day job responsibilities. Employee can troubleshoot problems and utilize available resources appropriately to resolve problems or concerns or provide suggestions for solutions within the boundaries of their position expectations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (includes but is not limited to the following):

  1. Maintain housekeeping operations in accordance with agency standards.
  2. Maintain equipment and supplies to avoid waste damage and prevent accidents.
  3. Daily inspections of residential communal living spaces to ensure safety and sanitary conditions.
  4. Ensure compliance that all infection control techniques are always practiced including personal protective equipment measures.
  5. Clean all rooms as residents exit and ensure all rooms are clean for incoming residents.
  6. Ensure all general housekeeping tasks meet quality standards.
  7. Communicate housekeeping needs including supply needs with the Director of Facilities.
  8. All other duties as assigned by department head.
Requirements

Educational & Experience Requirements:

Employment Experience (amount and kind)

  • One (1) year of housekeeping operations experience required
  • Experience working in a residential/communal setting is strongly preferred
  • Education (general level required or specific courses)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required


Essential Physical Requirements:

To perform this job successfully an individual must able able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.

Other Requirements:

  • Completion of a background check request; FBI State Police and Child Abuse Clearances obtained within required timeframe under Act 153 through agency vendor
  • Successful completion of required Advocate Training provided by agency
  • Valid drivers license current vehicle registration acceptable driving record and PA Minimum Liability insurance coverage of $15000 Bodily Injury per person / $30000 Bodily Injury per accident and $5000 Property Damage or $35000 Combined Single Limit if your position requires operating a personal or organization owned vehicle.
