Expected Duties and Responsibilities:
Students may be expected to
- set up and take down for experiments
- clean glassware
- grade papers
- tutor other students
- serve as lab assistants
- or perform other clerical duties.
Skills Developed
Teaching assistants will develop their ability to explain chemical concepts to and evaluate the work of less advanced students. They will also develop the ability to follow preparatory instructions in a timely and precise manner.
