Job Summary
Position Role: Understand manage and de-risk the digital and electromagnetic signatures of force elements deployed on PJHQ Operations.
Responsibilities:
Advise PJHQ J1J9 Military Commands and other stakeholders on C5I and digitalsignature considerations throughout the operational estimate ensuring appropriate resourcing policy alignment and information integrity within operational planning |
Responsible for the fusion and application of Defence Intelligence and other J2 products and development of relationships across the J2 community to produce focused threat analysis and capability assessment pertaining to PJHQ operations. |
Provide lighttouch leadership on digitalsignature resilience and defensive measures collaborating with specialist organisations basic incident management processes and digital force protection considerations relevant to deployed forces. |
Advise the MSOC of changes to C5I resourcing digitalresilience assumptions or informationintegrity risks throughout the SOR and Force Generation processes during contingent and crisis operations. |
Oversee operational digital and electromagnetic risk on behalf of ACOS J6 directing proportionate incident reporting and triage activity and supporting coordination with specialist responders where required. |
Advise ACOS J6 on the coherent integration of digitalsignature resilience and informationassurance measures. |
Maintain situational awareness of digitalsignature vulnerabilities and operational informationintegrity risks providing timely actionable advice to commanders and risk owners to support decisionmaking and operational assurance. |
Support the integration of digitalsignature considerations and informationresilience factors into PJHQ reporting contributing to risk assessments operational updates and crossfunctional decisionsupport processes. |
Promote best practice in operational information integrity supporting the development of lightweight policy guidance and readiness activity that strengthens the resilience of deployed systems without duplicating specialist cyber functions. |
