Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting individuals to join Te Kauhanganui Tātai Ture - Faculty of Law as part of our fixed-term pool of Markers for the 2026 academic year.

Key responsibilities:

• Mark law assignments and exams using the provided marking guides.
• Attending the relevant training and meetings as required.
• Providing clear and constructive feedback when required.
• Ensure the timely completion of marking related tasks.

Ō pūmanawa - About you

You will be passionate about legal education and have a great eye for attention to details.

Key requirements:

• High level of academic achievement at LLB/LLB (Hons) level or higher.
• Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills.
• Previous marking or tutoring experience is an advantage.
