Constructor University is an international English-taught university located in Bremen Germany. Together with the other colleagues in the Admissions department the Admissions Officers are responsible for guiding and advising applicants to the university through the application process and processing applications in the online application platform. The Admissions Office collaborates with other departments primarily by advising on international admission requirements and providing information and reports.

Admissions Officer Africa (m/f/d)

(Full-time 385 hours/week limited for 1 year)

The Admission Officer for Sub-Saharan Africa is primarily responsible for the assessment of application documents from applicants to the undergraduate online and International Foundation Year programs from the Sub-Saharan Africa region.

Your Responsibilities:

• Processing and evaluating incoming applications for Bachelor online and International Foundation Year programs

• Advising and supporting potential students (by phone and the admissions e-mail)

• Preparation of statistics and reports in Salesforce

• Supporting marketing activities and events i.e. Admission Days and on-campus SAT testing

• General office and administrative tasks as assigned

• Assisting in workflow documentation and knowledge transfer to other employees

• Maintaining international transcript and document evaluation portals (IB WASSCE etc.)

• Attendance of international training workshops and events

• Coordination and support of regional International Recruitment Counselors

Your Profile:

• Degree / study (Bachelor Degree) or comparable qualification

• Customer service experience and orientation

• Experience in living working and/or studying overseas

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Experience with Salesforce (desired)

• Experience with German university admission regulations i.e. anabin KMK guidelines (desired)

• Experience working for a university or in international education (desired)

• Intermediate knowledge of German (desired)

• Intermediate Knowledge of French (desired)

• Intercultural communication skills and knowledge in the Sub-Saharan Africa region (desired)
