As a Security Officer - Perimeter Walking Patrol in Pineville NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an Allied Universal Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points respond to alarms and/or unusual activity document observations and communicate clearly with onsite teams and visitors. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices warehouse and/or data center areas parking lots and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points verify credentials as required by post orders manage visitor check-in and/or delivery screening and assist with badge and key control processes.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including alarms suspicious activity and/or medical events and coordinate notifications per site procedures.
• Complete reports and logs with accurate timely details document security-related observations during shifts and communicate status updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
