The CMM Programmer is responsible for creating editing and executing Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs to inspect manufactured components and ensure they meet engineering specifications. This role requires strong technical skills in dimensional inspection GD&T interpretation and proficiency using CMM software such as PC-DMIS Calypso or Zeiss. The CMM Programmer works closely with quality engineering and production teams to maintain accuracy and compliance with company and customer ResponsibilitiesDevelop modify and validate CMM programs for dimensional inspection of parts and first article inspections (FAI) in-process inspections and final inspections according to engineering drawings and quality complex blueprints GD&T and engineering specifications to determine critical measurement CMM equipment and other precision measuring tools (micrometers height gauges calipers optical comparators etc.).Document and report inspection results using internal quality systems and customer formats (including AS9102 when applicable).Troubleshoot measurement issues and work with machinists/engineers to resolve dimensional CMM equipment including calibration and routine continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and process compliance with ISO AS9100 or other applicable quality 2 years of experience programming and operating a CMM in a manufacturing or precision machining in CMM software (e.g. PC-DMIS Zeiss Calypso Mitutoyo Modus).Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint with precision measuring instruments and metrology to analyze data identify defects and recommend corrective attention to detail and documentation to collaborate with production engineering and quality QualificationsExperience in aerospace automotive medical device or high-precision with AS9102 First Article Inspection of statistical process control (SPC).Associate degree or technical certification in manufacturing quality or related SkillsStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent communicationAnalytical mindsetAbility to work independently and in a team environmentTime-management and prioritization skills
